News

Oct 2015: PRNI 2015 Proceedings are available on IEEEXplore now.

Aug 2015: Together with Viktor Jirsa, Stephen Strother, Andrew Zalesky, and Dimitri Van De Ville, we're organizing a special issue of IEEE J. Selected Topics in Signal Processing on Advanced Signal Processing in Brain Networks. See CFP here. Submission deadline is November 1st, 2015.

Jul 2015: Our Science paper has been recommended on Faculty of 1000.

June 2015: Our paper showing strong associations between functional networks and a set of genes (post-mortem, with replication in-vivo and in mouse) just came out in Science. We'll be presenting results at HBM too, please come by!

Apr 2015: Mario Chavez, Laura Astolfi and Sophie Achard are organising a minisymposium on Graph analysis of functional brain networks: theory, applications and issues at the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society conference, Aug. 25-29, Milano. I'll be speaking on robustness of graph estimation, and if you're a student you can come present a poster!

Mar 2015: Our abstract on imaging genomics of functional networks has been selected for oral presentation at HBM 2015.

Oct 2014: Early PRNI 2015 website is live.

September 2014: PRNI 2015 will be held at Stanford from the 10th of June to the 12th of June, 2015. We're working on getting more details on prni.org soon!

September 2014: The Flexible Brain Graph Visualizer is now released as open source. If you have Matlab and an adjacency matrix, take it for a spin!

September 2014: The theme issue of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B on Complex network theory and the brain is available.

July 2014: PRNI 2014 proceedings are now available online.

July 2014: Our paper Altered cerebrovascular reactivity velocity in mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer disease has been accepted in Neurobiology of Aging. The study was designed by Sven Haller (Clinical Neuroradiology and Advanced Neuroimaging Techniques, U. Geneva).

June 2014: Our paper Graph analysis of functional brain networks: practical issues in translational neurosciences has been accepted to appear in the upcoming special issue of Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B on Complex network theory and the brain. This is joint work with Fabrizio de Vico Fallani and Mario Chavez at Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle Epiniere, and Sophie Achard at Institut Polytechnique de Grenoble.

May 2014: Our Bavaria California Technology Center project proposal on multi-site data has been funded. We'll be working with grad student Gabriel Castrillon, Dr. Seyed-Ahmad Ahmadi and Prof. Nassir Navab from the Chair on Computer Aided Medical Procedures at Technical University of Münich.

Nov 2013: Slides for my talk on comparing brain graphs at the University of Montréal's workshop on scale-free dynamics and networks in neuroscience are available.

Sep 2013: PRNI 2014, the International Workshop on Pattern Recognition in NeuroImaging, will be in held at the Max Planck Institute in Tübingen from June 4th to June 6th, 2014. It's a short flight away from Hamburg and just before HBM 2014, join us !

August 2013: Slides for my PRNI tutorial on tree ensembles for machine learning with neuroimaging data are available.

June 2013: Our paper on testing the significance of individual communities in graphs has been accepted for oral presentation at PRNI 2013.
