Lapo is leading globally the Value Maximizer service line which is aimed at modelling complex manufacturing systems and supply chains to enable their dynamic financial optimization. Lapois passionate about advanced analytics, team work, and sports. Lapo has a PhD in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University where he conducted theoretical and experimental research in the field of metals and mechanical design. Before joining McKinsey, he also led a motorsport team designing, manufacturing, testing, and racing a single-seater car in international competitions. Lapo is author of a book and of over 30 scientific publications mostly on metals and design.
