An microcontroller-based prototype page turner was fabricated to provide a means for an individual with ALS to independently read a book or magazine.

The goal for this project was to develop a toileting aid to assist an individual with a disability to stand up from his wheelchair to urinate.

This lift provided a means for a wheelchair user and an attendant to safely transfer to/from a bed to a wheelchair.
