The Research Unit offers funding opportunities for collaborative research projects, curriculum development, and junior faculty projects. Funding periods are from one to three years (with annual reapplications). All proposals are reviewed by the DLCL Planning and Personnel Committee.

Proposing a Project to the Research Unit

The Research Unit in the Division of Literatures, Cultures, and Languages has completed its funding decisions for projects in the academic year 2006-07. The next deadline for proposals will be in early March, 2007. A Call for Proposals will be announced late in the fall quarter, 2006.

All proposals will be reviewed by the Planning and Personnel Committee. Applicants will be notified in early April.
