During the two week holiday period (Saturday, December 19 through Sunday, January 3) you can park without a permit in most C, Z, and Resident lots. (Escondido Village parking rules will be enforced as usual.) The usual parking regulations will resume on January 4.

You will still need a permit to park on weekdays in all A and shared A/Resident lots, in the Medical Center area and Parking Structure I, in Service Vehicle spaces; you will still need to feed the meters. Both special zones (such as handicapped, red zones and fire lanes) and the Escondido Village lots will be subject to enforcement 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The Marguerite will operate according to its usual schedule but it will NOT operate on University Holidays--December 24, 25, and January 1. The Midnight Express will run from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. on January 1, but it will not run on December 18, 19, 25, and 26. If you have any questions, please call Transportation Services at 3-9362.

Parking permit regulations WILL be in force in all Medical Center parking lots, except on December 25, Jan 1, and weekends. If you have any questions regarding the Med Center parking schedule, please call 3-7222.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful farewell gifts. They are lovely reminders of my time in the libraries at Stanford and will bring back memories of the wonderful people here. Best of luck to you all. I don't have email yet, but if you are ever in Southern California, look me up at the School of the Arts, UC Irvine. Thanks for all your kindnesses.
