Abstract: 1. Respiratory rate of Cirriformia exhibits both short and long-term fluctuations. 2. The patterns of different "groups" of worms being tested at the same time are often significantly synchronous. 3. These patterns are not consistently sychronous with either tidal or diurnal cycles. 4. Possible reasons for these patterns are discussed.
