Guides and Directories at Green Library Information Center

  • Annual Register of Grant Support. A Directory of Funding Source (Latest in Green Library Information Center Ready Ref.) Describes over 3,500 grant support programs of government agencies, public and private foundations, corporations, community trusts, unions, educational and professional associations, and special interest organizations. Covers broad spectrum of interests; programs for graduate and postgraduate levels. Contains four indexes: Subject, Organization and Program, Geographic and Personnel. Includes section on program planning and proposal writing.
  • FC Search The Foundation Center.One CD and User Manual - CD contains data files on grantmakers and their recent grants. The Grantmaker file on CD records more than 78,300 grantmakers. The Grants file contains info on more than 335,700 recent grants of $10,000 and more.
  • The Grants Register (Listing over 2,200 awards from 48 countries) (Latest is Green Library Information Center Ready Ref. Earlier editions in SAL: LB 2338 G7) - Detailed, comprehensive survey of awards intended for students at or above postgraduate level. Contains up-to-date information about the availability of, and eligibility for, non-refundable postgraduate and professional awards worldwide. Part 1 incorporates directory of sponsoring organizations and programs they offer. Part 2 documents a subject and eligibility guide to awards. Includes also indices of awards, and awarding organizations.
  • Scholarships, Fellowships and Loans. A Guide to Education-Related Financial Aid Programs For Students and Professionals (Latest in Green Library Information Center Ready Ref. LB 2338 F4) Contains descriptive listing on awards programs and their administering organizations including: Federal Programs, AmeriCorps, State Higher Education Agencies and more. Also incorporate five indices: Field and Study, Legal Residence, Place of Study, Special Recipient, Sponsor and Scholarship.
  • Money for Graduate Students in the Social & Behavioral Sciences (Latest held only, Green Library Information Center Ready Ref. LB2337.2 .M667) A list of Fellowships, Grants, Awards, Traineeships, and other funding programs set aside to support graduate study, training, research, and creative activities in the social and behavioral sciences; recommended financial aid resources, and a set of five indexes: sponsor, residency, tenability, subject, and deadline. Lists programs open only to graduate students, and only “free” money that does not required repayment.
  • Money for Graduate Students in the Arts & Humanities (Latest held only, Green Library Information Center Ready Ref. LB2337.2 .M664) A list of Fellowships, Grants, Awards, Traineeships, and other funding programs set aside to support graduate study, training, research, and creative activities in the arts and humanities; recommended financial aid resources, and a set of five indexes: sponsor, residency, tenability, subject, and deadline.
