Gross, Thomas P.

Currently: Washington, DC/Attorney

After finishing my Stanford degree and law school, I worked at the U.S. Dept. of Energy handling intellectual property matters and later energy issues at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. I practiced law with two large law firms in Washington, DC, handling energy and transactional matters, both domestically and internationally. For about ten years, I travelled the world advising governments on regulatory, legal and policy reform on energy matters, e.g., Russia, China, India, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Romania. Some of my work has included writing the new Oil & Gas law for Indonesia, investigating the energy sector in Dominican Republic, and writing the new energy law in Bulgaria. I currently practice law in Washington, DC and am on the Adjunct Faculty at The George Washington University where I teach two graduate courses: Corporate Governance & Securities; International Business Transactions & Finance which uses the book I have written on the subject. I welcome hearing from graduates and am especially interested in bio-engineering and artificial intelligence. See Linked-In at:
