Organizational Units within Administrative Systems
Administrative Systems is comprised of several units that support different elements of administrative computing at Stanford. See our Organization Chart for a graphical representation of the organization.
Provides a comprehensive set of services supporting Stanford’s administrative data warehousing, management, and reporting needs.
Supports the systems that facilitate financial administration at Stanford, including the Oracle Financials suite of applications.
Provides both strategic and operational support to ensure the security, reliability, performance, and availability of Stanford ’s administrative systems.
Provides systems and services that enable the University to manage enterprise data about people, organizations, accounts, courses, workgroups, and authority. These systems include SUNet ID, Authority Manager, StanfordYou, person registries, etc.
Supports the systems that facilitate student administration and HR functions at Stanford. Includes all systems accessed via the Axess Portal: PeopleSoft Student and PeopleSoft HR, Benefits, and Payroll; STARS (training registration system); and the Kronos leave-tracking system.
Internal Support Services in Administrative Systems:
Administrative Systems Communications supports and coordinates communication within and across AS and externally with clients.
Finance and Administration
The Finance and Administration team supports the smooth day-to-day operation of Administrative Systems by providing both financial administration and general administrative support across the organization.
