Adriana Vazquez


Currently completing the Ph.D. program in Classics at the University Washington (Seattle, Washington) (to be completed in 2017)
M.A., B.A. (2010) in Classical Literature, Stanford University


Adriana completed Stanford's co-terminal degree program and received her Master of Arts as well as a B.A. degree in Classics in 2010. Her interests in Classics focus primarily on the Roman elegists. Her favorite Classical author is Ovid, though Catullus is a close second. She is now a Ph.D. student in the Department of Classics at the University of Washington, and hopes to be completed in 2017.  She is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Washington for the 2012-2013 academic year, and received the Jim Greenfield Travel Bursary award at UW in both October 2012 and March 2013.  In 2010, she went on a Stanford Classics Department sponsored travel grant to research in Arezzo, Italy.
