Danielle Steen Fatkin is a tenure-track assistant professor of history at Knox College in Galesburg, IL. Her teaching interests include Roman archaeology and history, theory of archaeological and historical methods, Roman religions, especially Judaism, cultural heritage management, comparative study of empires, and gender studies. She is currently working on an essay titled "Power, Purity, and the Invention of the Hasmonean Bathing Tradition."
