M.A. candidate, Classical Archaeology
Cara is a masters graduate student in classics and archaeology. She received her BA in archaeology and classics from the University of Southern California 2011. After graduating from USC, Cara spent 14 months in Italy where she studied Italian, Latin and Roman archaeology. She has conducted fieldwork in Spain, Greece, and Italy and is currently a trench master at Poggio Civitate in Tuscany. Her research interests include the archaeology of Hellenistic Pontus, trade between the Mediterranean and Asia, and the application of interdisciplinary theory to the analysis of archaeological material.
