Stanford TAPS will hold auditions for three upcoming productions: TAPS's Fall main stage production, A Kingdom, a Country or a Wasteland, in the Snow; a senior project, Machinal; and a TAPS-sponsored staged reading, World War I: Words to End All Wars. Audition for Chocolate Heads (Stanford's ONLY dance-driven interdisciplinary music & art troupe) this year’s theme: How to be a Social Movement. In addition to the TAPS Spring Show in Memorial Auditorium, the season features a performance in Winter; a mobile residency at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco; and a POP UP Workshop at the d.school on Saturday, October. 11, 2014. The Chocolate Heads are a collection of student dancers, musicians, and spoken-word artists from all different backgrounds and trainings. Credit will be available for students in Fall (Dance 30). The TAPS production team seeks students interested in working backstage on 2013-14 productions. Positions available include assistant stage managers; run crew; light and sound board operators; dressers; and more. Academic credit available. Stanford TAPS seeks current Stanford students to work as front-of-house (FOH) staff at our performances and events. Duties include handing out wait-list tickets; putting up and taking down directional signs; taking tickets the venue doors; assisting patrons to their seats; etc. Compensation is $12.50/hour.
