Posted on March 21st, 2014 in Program Highlights

We are organizing a free teachers’ workshop for middle and high school educators from 10:00 am to noon on Saturday, April 26, 2014. The workshop will explore resources for, and approaches to, the study of Islam and Muslim societies and will investigate strategies for integrating them in history, social studies, and arts curricula. It will commence at 10:00 am with a panel discussion with Stanford faculty members and continue through lunch from noon to 1:00 pm. The event is free and open to instructors teaching grades 7 through 12. Interested teachers are invited to register here by April 16, 2014.  If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Burcak Keskin-Kozat (Abbasi Program Associate Director) by email at burcak at stanford dot edu or by phone at (650) 736 8169.
