"Introduction to American Law" and "Professional Responsibility"
Please review the attached memo for more information on these courses, which are required for all LLMs and suggested for JSM/SPILs students. Both of the classes will meet each weekday from September 2 through September 20, except for September 19 (study day), when neitehr class will meet. Detailed class schedules will be posted later in the summer, but classes will generally meet from 9:00 am - 12:15 pm and then from 1:45 - 5:00 pm.
"Professional Responsibility" will be taught by Professor Larry Marshall, Associate Dean for Clinical Education. His bio can be viewed here. "Introduction to American Law" will be taught by Assistant Professor Binyamin Blum with Stanford Law Faculty and local practitioners participating as guest lecturers on various topics. Orientation activities begin with a dinner on Wednesday, Aug. 27 and continue through the afternoon of Thursday, Aug. 28.
