Internet Connection

Stanford provides internet service through Comcast. Students may need to purchase their own Ethernet cables to use wired internet connections in their apartment.

If you encounter an issue with your internet connection, you should contact the Comcast National Support Center at 866-511-6489. Select option #3, then option #2 for Teleworker service. This is the number for Comcast’s National Accounts Support Maintenance/Repair and is available 24x7x365. Teleworker service support personnel are well equipped to assist you with any issues you may be having and/or troubleshoot the problem to resolution. Tip: Before calling for tech assistance, first try powering down the modem and try connecting again, as many issues can easily be resolved in this manner. If the problem is determined to be with the wireless router, please contact Housing Assignments at 650-725-2810, as the routers were supplied by R&DE Student Housing.

Not sure what your router/internet password is? Please contact the Governor’s Corner Housing Front Desk during normal business hours: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm.

These permits can be picked up from the Governor's Corner Housing Front Desk if you did not receive one upon check in.
