As a friendly reminder, pets of any kind, including aquatic, are prohibited in all University residences. If you are found to have such an animal, you will be charged an Administrative Fee of $100 per day from the date of discovery until it is permanently removed from campus.

You will also be charged a mandatory cleaning fee due to the extra cleaning needed to bring the room or apartment back to a standard for a student who may have a pet allergy. Help us meet our goal!

R&DE Student Housing is responding to California's water emergency, and we need everyone's assistance.

  • Reduce Your Shower Time – Take 2 minutes off your normal shower time, or even better, aim to take a 5 minute shower or less!

  • Wash Full Loads of Laundry – In November this year alone students used 1 million gallons of water doing laundry.

  • Turn off the Tap and Use the Trickle – Turn off the faucet while you shave or brush your teeth, or while scrubbing dishes and you can save up to 5 gallons a day.

  • Report Water Leaks (inside and outside) – Report dripping faucets, shower heads, and sprinklers to

  • Scrape Your Plate and Avoid Trays – When eating in dining halls, don't use a tray and scrape the food off your plate completely to reduce water used for cleaning.

We are here to help! Our goal in R&DE Student Housing is to make your Stanford home a comfortable, clean and safe environment. Let us know how we can help you today.
