Bring art alive for your family! Themes for tours and art-making activities change every Sunday. While all ages are welcome, the program is designed for ages 5 and above. If you have any questions regarding these programs, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due to the immense popularity of Cantor's Family Sundays program and our limited space, families wishing to participate may experience long wait times and may not be able to register due to the full capacity of the program. Registration is only available in person at the museum and begins at noon. Please be advised that while every effort is made to accommodate families on the waitlist, we cannot guarantee that spaces will become available. Family Sundays is a FREE program, offered 48 Sundays at the Cantor each calendar year.
Experiment with art materials and new techniques during sessions taught by professional art educators. 30-minute sessions begin at 1, 1:30, 2, and 2:30 pm every Sunday. Please sign up for your session at the Family Sunday welcome table located near the Cool Cafe.
Stocked with colored pencils and sketching paper, art packs will fuel your own independent focused drawing session. Draw for 15 minutes or two hours—whatever your family's schedule allows! Sign out an Art Pack at the Family Sunday welcome table on Sundays between 12:30 pm and 3 pm or at the main lobby desk during museum open hours.
The Red Balloon, Sunday, March 27, 11:30 am and 2:30 pm
In this Academy-Award-winning short, a balloon with a mind of its own follows a young boy through the streets of Paris.
Art Packs: Sign out an art pack from the main lobby front desk during museum open hours. Art packs are stocked with colored pencils and sketching paper for your own independent focused drawing session.
