ROBLE STUDIO THEATER

Roble Studio Theater and Roble Dance Studio are located in Roble Gymnasium Building on the West side of campus along Santa Teresa Street.

MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM

Memorial Auditorium is located on Serra Mall across from Hoover Tower. Pigott Theater and Prosser Studio are located in the Memorial Auditorium complex.

NITERY STUDIO THEATER

Nitery Studio is located in the East Wing (building 590) of the historic Old Union. The Old Union is in White Plaza, just East of Tresidder Student Union.

PARKING LOCATIONS

Parking is free all day on weekends and holidays, and after 4pm on weekdays.







ROBLE STUDIO THEATER

The best location for parking is at the Via Ortega Garage or the Panama Lot, both on Panama Street. Additionally, there are two lots on Lomita Drive and street parking along Santa Teresa Street.

MEMORIAL AUDITORIUM

Parking for Memorial Auditorium can be found on Memorial Way, outside Bing Concert Hall on Lasuen Street, at the Oval, and along both Galvez Street and Serra Street.

NITERY STUDIO THEATER

Parking for the Nitery Studio Theater is available at the Tresidder Student Union Parking Lot. Tresidder Parking Lot is off of Mayfield Avenue.

PURCHASING TICKETS

HOW TO PURCHASE TICKETS

Because we are an academic department, we unfortunately do not have a physical box office location, nor do we have box office agents through whom you can purchase tickets via phone or fax. For this reason, the only method of purchasing tickets in advance is via this website. View our "Tickets + Performances" page to purchase tickets and view all upcoming performances.

Please note that more often than not, TAPS productions sell out before they open. For that reason, we encourage you to purchase tickets in advance via this website. In the event that tickets are still available one hour before curtain, they may be purchased in cash or check (only) at the door of the performance venue.

IMPORTANT POLICIES & INFORMATION
Please note that for safety purposes, we cannot accommodate late seating once the performance has begun. Please plan on arriving in time to find parking, locate restrooms, select your seats, etc., before the scheduled curtain time.
There are no refunds or exchanges for ticket purchases. All tickets purchased via Vendini will be held at will-call in front of the performance space, and will be available for pick up beginning one hour before the scheduled curtain time. All Stanford TAPS productions have general admission seating.
If you are hoping to attend a sold-out performance, there is still a chance to purchase a ticket! We highly encourage you to read our policy below on how to place yourself on the wait-list:

  1. Beginning one hour before the performance, you may pick up a number from the will-call table, which is stationed in the lobby of the theater. The Front of House staff will not give out numbers before one hour to performance. Numbers will be given out to wait-list patrons on a first come, first served basis. Those with lower numbers will likely receive tickets, with odds decreasing as numbers get higher.
  2. The wait-list line forms in front of the main door to the theater. You may begin standing in line in front of the theater at any time. In the past, people have stood in line for the wait-list as early as 6pm. Please do not wait anywhere other than in front of the main door to the theater in order to ensure that you will have an accurate place in line.
  3. Unclaimed tickets will be released to the wait-list beginning as early as fifteen minutes before the scheduled performance time. Please ensure that you are back at the theater (by fifteen minutes before performance time) to hear if your number is called. If you are not present when your number is called, your ticket will be released to the next number. We will not return to numbers until all numbers have been called.
  4. Wait-list tickets must be purchased by cash or check, only.
  5. Each person on the wait-list line may request up to two tickets under his/her name. In other words, one person can put his/her name on the wait-list for two tickets, maximum.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

CALTRAIN

Stanford University can be reached via Caltrain. The closest Caltrain station to Stanford University campus is the "Palo Alto" station, located near downtown Palo Alto. Caltrain has a limited schedule of operations on weekends and during the evenings; please see detailed schedules at their website.

STANFORD MARGUERITE

To get from the Caltrain station to campus, there is a free University shuttle, The Marguerite, which stops at the Palo Alto Station and travels to various areas on campus. Like Caltrain, the Marguerite has a limited schedule of operations on weekends and during the evening. See more at Parking & Transportation Services' website.
