Attend a free lunchtime seminar!

Each quarter (except Summer), the WorkLife Office presents a variety of free workshops for the Stanford community. Workshops are open to students, faculty & staff and their spouses/significant others. The seminars are on a wide range of topics in the areas of work/life balance, parenting, and elder care. Some recent topics include sleeplessness, protecting yourself from identity theft, estate planning, discipline strategies for parents, adoption, setting limits for adolescents and advance directives. Attendees are invited to bring their lunches and join the discussion.

Spring Quarter 2014:  Organizing Tips for Busy Parents - Creating a functional home and less stressful family life.

This event it co-sponsored by the Help Center.  Professional organizer and productivity specialist Lori Krolik of More Time For You with share her favorite organizing tips for busy parents. Topics covered include: 

  • Creating a home for everything

  • Organizing your kids for success in school and life

  • Meal planning

  • How to reduce the paper piles and find what you need when you need it.

  • Tools and Apps to help you keep up with managing the multiple demands of family life (calendars, to-do’s, meal planning, etc.)
