Please apply for mini grants at least three weeks in advance of the event.
AASA mini-grants are set aside every year per the discretion of the AASA Financial Officer in discussion with the rest of AASA core. The purpose of the mini-grants are to promote communication and participation between different student groups across campus. Applications will be judged by their event content and its relevance to AASA's mission statement, which can be found on the about page. The applying groups can expect to receive their decision after AASA core meeting, given that they submitted their application at least one day before the meeting. Typically, we meet on Sunday evenings.
The AASA Subgroups Community Agreement was drafted in the 2015-2016 academic year based on discussion among AASA and the co-chairs of the subgroups at the Co-Chair Town Hall. The community agreement outlines what role AASA plays for the subgroups and what AASA and the subgroups expect of each other.
