WIT 2009 (Terrapin Invitational Tournament mirror) - Berkeley - 11.14.2009
Stanford - 6th Place Alborz Bejnood, Jacob Kalichman, Jason Ma, Bill Rowan, Tony Tzeng
Stanford sent a five players, including three freshmen to Berkeley to play in this fall's WIT. Stanford managed to avoid a winless run, defeating Berkeley's B team once en route to a 1-9 record. Despite the comparatively poor showing, everyone had a good time.

Stanford sent seven players, including four freshmen, to this year's TWAIN. Stanford A went 5-4, taking 4th place behind UCSD, Steve Katz, and Caltech A. Stanford B -- composed entirely of freshmen -- played admirably the entire day, which included a victory over Caltech's freshmen. Congratulations!

A team of four from Stanford went 4-3 in the preliminary round-robin, but made a furious comeback in the playoffs round-robin, avenging all three losses, to secure a 2nd-place finish. Congratulations!

NAQT ICT 2008 - Washington University in St. Louis - 04.12.2008

Stanford (D2) - 19th Place Chris Chen, Heidi Fogle, Bill Rowan, Justin Stoncius, Steven Wu
Stanford brought two Division I and one Division II team. Stanford A was 6-1 through prelims, making it into the top bracket, but fell to 7-6 overall, taking 7th place. Stanford B, unfortunately, was winless during prelims, losing close games to Harvard (30 points) and Georgia (10 points). However, Stanford dominated the bottom bracket, losing only to Illinois B, thus earning 6-7 overall. Stanford Division 2 went 3-4 through prelims, which placed them in the third bracket. They then went 5-1 in the secondary, earning 8-5 overall and 19th place. Congratulations!

*Individual stats were based on the whole tournament, so they include the rounds in which Stanford A played in the upper bracket. Stanford played harder teams, but Yogesh and Eric scored better because Nico was gone. :-(
