Life in Industry seminar will present on Saturday, Feb/21 with

“Having Fun Doing Tough/Great Work and Winning”

Where: Harvana Room, GCC, Stanford University

750 Escondido Road, Stanford, CA 94305

When: Saturday, Feb/21, 5pm

Registration: Open to public. Registration is required.

Ten participants will get the chance to have dinner together with the speaker after the seminar.

About the speaker

H.P. Jin co-founded TeleNav in 1999. TeleNav is the first company to launch a GPS navigation service on cell phones in the U.S. He led the company through the crisis and came out to become the leader in location based services in the world, with services covering North America, China, Europe and Brazil. TeleNav ranked top five among Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 in 2007 and 2008. HP is the recipient of the Entrepreneur of the year 2007 by HYSTA and the Most Inspiring Entrepreneur Award by (TiEcon, 2008). Prior to starting TeleNav, he worked at McKenna Group, McKinsey & Company, Loral Space and Communication.

H.P. holds a Ph.D. in Guidance, Navigation and Control (Aeronautics and Astronautics department), a Ph.D. minor in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology in China.

This Sunday Peking University Student Symphony Orchestra will bring us a wonderful concert. You are welcome to join us!

Where: Campbell Recital Hall (right beside Dinkelspiel Auditorium)

FREE for everyone! But we have less than 200 seats available. So, hurry up!
