THE REFINED 1ST PRINCIPLE OF FOOD WASTE:
THE MORE REPETITIVE A HOUSEHOLD'S DIET, THE LESS FOOD THE HOUSEHOLD WASTES . . .
The Rationale is simple: The more you eat the same things day after day, the less food ends up discarded as waste -- in other words, you become familiar with how to prepare the foods (without over or under cooking and without making too much and without preparing items that you or someone else in the family doesn't want to eat and WITH knowing how to handle leftovers). Familiarity breeds efficient consumption; unfamiliarity breds waste!
Of course, this Principle had to be further tested . . . with Test 1: bread waste.
