Frequently Asked Questions

No one in my group has any archery experience. Can we still come? Absolutely! We are fully aware that very few people have tried their hand at archery before, so our sessions are tailored to the needs of complete beginners of any age. Of course, those who do have experience are more than welcome too!

What should we wear? At a basic minimum, comfortable clothes and closed-toed shoes. Please avoid baggy clothing, as it can hinder movement. After periods of rain, the range may be extremely muddy, so you may wish to dress accordingly. Sunscreen is recommended on warmer days. Long hair should be tied back to avoid interference with the string, which can be an unpleasant experience.

Is there a minimum age? Yes. Children under the age of 9 are not allowed to participate in our program for safety reasons.

Can it be held in another location? No. For liability reasons and logistics, we can only hold events at our range. Driving directions and a map can be found here.

Can you host group lessons on days other than Saturdays? Unfortunately, no. It is difficult to find coaches to staff on other days, as we are all students with corresponding academic courseloads.
