The SHALA (Stanford Health and Lifestyle Assessment) is an online health risk assessment that takes about 30 minutes to complete. SHALA helps participants identify healthy lifestyle behaviors as well as areas for possible improvement. Upon completion, participants immediately have access to an individualized health report.
Benefits-eligible employees who complete the SHALA can move on to the Wellness Profile and Berries. The SHALA is not required for employees wishing to form or join a Healthy Work Environment (HWE) group. However, HWE participants may still opt to take the SHALA, which is required if they want to proceed to the Wellness Profile.
