The Bio-X Program would like to announce the eighth call for applications for the Undergraduate Summer Research Program with funding available starting in the summer of 2013.

Stanford students are eligible to participate and should be in communication with Bio-X affiliated faculty to decide on an interdisciplinary project that may be supported by this award.

The Bio-X Undergraduate Summer Research Program awards a total of $6000 to the student for a 10-week period of full-time research during the summer quarter and $1000 to their mentoring faculty to support their research.

The application deadline has been extended to Friday, April 5, 2013 at 5:00pm PST.

Two different application methods are available:
The recommended version is the online application form, which must be filled out by the faculty mentor.
The PDF form is an alternative option, and if a student submits this on a mentor's behalf, the faculty member will be emailed for confirmation that he/she is the identified mentor in the proposal.
