This quarter long directed study gave students the opportunity to build interactive art and performance pieces that were showcased to an audience of 5000 at the Frost Music & Arts Festival held on the Stanford campus on May 18, 2013.
This class drew on the fields of design, art, performance, and engineering, and projects included set design, site-specific sculptures, and immersive and interactive performances. Students received guidance and direction from Michael Sturtz and worked independently or in groups to create their installations.
