Edit Info for Section Wizard

On the Course and Section Setup page, click the Edit link (located to the right of a section). This will open the Edit Info for Section wizard.

Step 1

Edit your section's Section Name and description. Note: Remember to list the time, location, and section leader in the Section Name or in the Description fields. These are the only places where you can add section information for your course Web site.

Specify whether the section is Active or Inactive. Inactive sessions will not be displayed on the Course Homepage and students cannot self-register for them. You will want to use this option when you load the section information for the course, but do not want students to see it.

Here you can change your students' ability to self-register for the section and edit your section’s maximum size.

Click Cancel to exit the wizard without making any changes. Click Save to advance to the next step in the wizard.

Step 2

In the final wizard screen, CourseWork reports that you’ve successfully updated all of the changes for your section. Click OK to exit the wizard and return to the Course and Section Setup page.
