Edit Assignment

On the Admin Assignments page, click on the Edit link to the right of an assignment to make changes to it. This will bring you to the Edit Assignment page.

Each type of assignment has different components that you can add or edit.

Multi-Part Assignment

You can do the following to a Multi-Part Assignment on the Edit Assignment page.

Edit Assignment: On the Edit Assignment page, click the white Edit link to the far right of the top Assignment bar. Recall that adding an assignment creates the shell or container for the assignment. Refer to the Add Assignment wizard or help page to remind yourself of the fields you can edit to make changes to the assignment shell.

Add/Edit Part: Once an assignment shell has been created, you can add parts or sections to it or make changes to previously entered parts. Refer to the Add Part or Edit Part help pages for more information.

Add/Edit Part Content: An assignment part may have introductory content material and follow-up questions about that content. Once you have defined a part or section within your assignment, you can add content to that part or make changes to content that have been added previously.

Add/Edit Question: Once a part or section has been defined, you can add questions to it or make changes to previously entered questions.

Add/Edit Answer: For a multiple-choice or multiple-choice with rationale question, you can add more answer choices to the question or make changes to previously entered answer choices.

Edit Quick Quiz Assignment

You can do the following to a Quick Quiz Assignment on the Edit Assignment page.

Edit Assignment: On the Edit Assignment page, click the white Edit link to the far right of the top Assignment bar. Recall that adding an assignment creates the shell or container for the assignment. Refer to the Add Assignment wizard or help page to remind yourself of the fields you can edit to make changes to the assignment shell.

Add/Edit Part Content: A Quick Quiz may have introductory content material and follow-up questions about that content. On the Edit Assignment page, you can add content to your assignment or make changes to content that have been added previously.

Add/Edit Question: You can add questions to to your Quick Quiz or make changes to previously entered questions.

Add/Edit Answer: For a multiple-choice or multiple-choice with rationale question, you can add more answer choices to the question or make changes to previously entered answer choices.

Edit Offline Assignment

You can do the following to an Offline Assignment on the Edit Assignment page.

Refer to the Add Assignment wizard or help page to remind yourself of the fields you can edit to make changes to the assignment shell.

Add/Edit Part Content: An offline assignment may include introductory content material and follow-up questions about that content. On the Edit Assignment page, you can add content to your assignment or make changes to content that have been added previously.

Edit Quick Paper Submission Assignment

You can do the following to a Quick Paper Submission Assignment on the Edit Assignment page.

Edit Assignment: On the Edit Assignment page, click the white Edit link to the far right of the top Assignment bar. Recall that adding an assignment creates the shell or container for the assignment. Refer to the Add Assignment wizard or help page to remind yourself of the fields you can edit to make changes to the assignment shell.

Add/Edit Part Content: A quick paper submission assignment may include introductory content material and follow-up questions about that content. On the Edit Assignment page, you can add content to your assignment or make changes to content that have been added previously.

Edit Question: A quick paper submission assignment will automatically contain a single file upload question, prompting a student to submit a document. You can elect to keep the default question setting or make changes to it.
