Edit Question Wizard

Note: This wizard is available for Standard Multi-Part, Quick Quiz, and Quick Paper Submission assignments.

For a Multi-Part assignment: On the Admin Assignments page, click the Edit link next to an assignment. This will bring you to the Edit Assignment page. Click the Edit link located the right of an assignment part. This will bring you to the Edit Part page. Click the Edit link located to the right of a question. This will bring you to the Edit Question page. Click the white Edit link located on the black Question bar to access the Edit Question wizard.

For Quick Quizassignment: On the Admin Assignments page, click the Edit link next to an assignment. This will bring you to the Edit Assignment page. Click the Edit link located to the right of a question. This will bring you to the Edit Question page. Click the white Edit link located on the black Question bar to access the Edit Question wizard.

For Quick Paper Submission assignment: On the Admin Assignments page, click the Edit link next to an assignment. This will bring you to the Edit Assignment page. Click the Edit link located to the right of the predefined file upload question.to access the Edit Question wizard.

Step 1

From the drop-down menu, re-select the type of question you want to add.

Make changes to the Points, Question Text, or Solution Text fields.

The Instructor Memo field is optional and is only visible to administrators of the course. Most people use it to keep notes between Faculty and TAs on how each question should be graded.

Click Cancel to exit the wizard without making any changes. Click Save to save your edits.

Step 2

In the final wizard screen, CourseWork reports that you have successfully edited a question. Click OK to exit the wizard.
