Dahlia 'Penhill Dark Monarch'
This cultivar is informal decorative type, bicolored purple and yellow, and of size AA. It was hybridized, grown, named and registered in 2002 by W.H. Maritz, Penhill, Republic of South Africa, and introduced in 2003 by J.T. Dahlias, Greenfield, Wisconsin, USA. It is a cross of 'Le Von Splinter' and an unnamed seedling.
