Elizaveta Strakhov is a doctoral candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania working on a dissertation provisionally entitled "Channeling War: Poetics and Politics in the Pennsylvania Manuscript" that uses the lyric anthology University of Pennsylvania Codex 902 (formerly French 15) to open up questions surrounding political factionalism, linguistic diversity and shared poetic culture in England and France during the Hundred Years War.
