ARCHIVED Bulletin: 2007/08 Winter Close Information (Posted December 5, 2007)
In accordance with the University 2007 Winter Close schedule, the Controller's Office, Office of Research Administration, Procurement, and Administrative Systems/Financial Systems Support Group will be officially closed for regular business from Monday, December 24, 2007 through Wednesday, January 2, 2008. Normal business hours will resume Thursday, January 3, 2008.

Payroll will be open through close of business on Friday, December 21. For assistance with payroll issues prior to the break, please submit a HelpSU ticket to Payroll (Category Financial Support and Request Type Payroll). Payroll will be closed beginning at 5:00 p.m. Friday, December 21 and will reopen on Thursday, January 3, 2008.
Purchasing and Payment Processing (including Reimbursements)

Cashier's Office 2007 Deposit Deadline
All departmental deposits to be processed in calendar year 2007 must be brought to the Cashier's Office by Noon on Friday, December 21, 2007.
Student Financial Services
Student Financial Services will be closed beginning Monday, December 24, 2007 and will resume normal business hours on Thursday, January 3, 2008. Students or authorized payers may use the online Stanford ePay to view and make payments on student accounts.
Financial Systems Support
Financial Systems Support, including the Help Desk, will be officially closed from Monday, December 24, 2007 through Wednesday, January 2, 2008. All production and infrastructure applications will continue to be available during this time, and limited staff will be available to monitor systems and to ensure that critical applications and services remain running. To report a service outage or other emergency, call 650-725-HELP (5-4357) or submit a HelpSU ticket. Emergency messages will be responded to within 24 hours, except on weekends. Although officially closed, the following departments will be available to respond to emergency needs during the winter close, with the exception of weekends and official holidays.
