ARCHIVED Bulletin: OfficeMax Is Now Stanford Preferred Provider (Posted March 4, 2013)
Stanford Procurement has entered into a new strategic Office Supplies Agreement with OfficeMax for all of the University's office products needs. Beginning March 4, OfficeMax is now Stanford's preferred office products supplier.
Among the several suppliers invited to bid, Procurement chose OfficeMax for their exceptional service standards and competitive pricing. OfficeMax successfully won the office supply contract with Stanford Hospital and Clinics and the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in 2012 and has been providing the hospitals with outstanding service and savings for almost a full year.
OfficeMax Brings Benefits for University Staff and Faculty:
Not only will there be deep discounts on over 2500 most commonly purchased office products, but this new strategic agreement brings many other benefits such as the OfficeMax Retail Connect Card. Staff and Faculty members can enjoy Stanford-negotiated pricing at local retail OfficeMax stores for personal and business office supply needs. The Affinity Program will also be introduced which gives discounts for all Stanford University students, alumni, friends, corporate partners and donors, available on the Web and in OfficeMax retail locations.
Supporting Cardinal Green
OfficeMax's "Green" Initiative will support Stanford's own "green" initiatives of reducing waste, increasing use of environmentally preferable (recycled and reusable) products and leading-edge environmental practices including deliveries in reusable boxes made with recycled paper.
Ordering has never been easier through the OfficeMax punchout on Smartmart with access to over 15,000 office products and live chat customer service while you're shopping.
