See the PeopleSoft Upgrade Project (site not available, link removed) web page for information on 'Delta' training sessions and for additional information on the upgrade. The Online Learning Center is now available for step-by-step demos of PeopleSoft Version 9.0.
Please see important notes below to help you plan for the upgrade:
No Payroll Checks on Friday, August 8
Payroll will not have access to PeopleSoft during the upgrade, and will not have the ability to process or print checks during that time. Termination and/or Off-Cycle Checks that are required for August 8 must be requested in advance. For terminations planned for Friday, August 8, Termination Webforms are due by 9AM on Thursday, August 7. Off-Cycle Check requests must also be submitted by 9AM on Thursday, August 7.
Note that August 7 is payday. Please exercise extra diligence in checking your Gross Pay Report for this pay period to ensure that you are able to order checks for missing pay by August 7.
If you are advised of an involuntary termination on Friday, August 8, please submit a HelpSU ticket to Payroll. Payroll personnel will work with the requesting department to make arrangements for a timely transfer of funds to the employee.
PeopleSoft Reports in ReportMart1 - Not Available during Upgrade
Existing Reportmart1 reports will be redirected to the new Version 9.0 reporting database during the upgrade. PeopleSoft reports in Reportmart1 will be unavailable beginning at 7PM on Thursday, August 7 and until 8AM on Wednesday, August 13.
Please remember to run your Gross Pay Reports for the 7/31/08 pay period by close of business on August 7 to have this information available to you during the upgrade.
Employee Pay Statements in Axess
Employees will not be able to access the Employee Info tab in Axess during the upgrade. Please remind employees to view their pay statements for the August 7 payday by the end of the day of August 7. We will also include a reminder of this in the 'Online Pay Statement Available to View' email message that employees receive each pay period.
PDF pay statements will be available starting with the August 22 payday, the first payday in PeopleSoft Version 9. Employees will access their PDF pay statements in the same manner as they do now. Step-by-step instructions will also be included in the 'Online Pay Statement Available to View' email message. Historical pay statements, dating back to the 12/31/01 pay period, will continue to be available after the upgrade, in their original HTML format.
- If you have a question, please submit a HelpSU ticket to Payroll. We will respond to you as quickly as possible.
