Resources: Getting Access to iOU Travel Card Module of Oracle Financials System

iOU Travel Card is a custom software application designed specifically to allow users to review and validate or flag disputed Stanford Travel Card charges. The Stanford Travel Card is a University-paid MasterCard. Once validated, the user can select travel card charges to automatically populate charge lines in an expense report created in the Reimbursement module of iOU.

Gain Access to iOU Travel Card Module

You must satisfy three requirements prior to getting access to the iOU Travel Card module:

  1. Be designated to validate Travel Card charges and submit expense reports that include Travel Card charges

In the process of applying for a department or individual Stanford Travel Card, the applicant must designate one person responsible for validating charges made to the Travel Card and originating expense reports that include those Travel Card charges.

  2. Take required training and assessment tests

The designated Validator will be eligible to receive access to the Travel Card module of iOU after completing the following two online training courses:

Note:  Access to the iOU system with "SU iOU Public" responsibility is a pre-requisite to gaining access to the Travel Card module of iOU. See Getting Access to iOU Module of Oracle Financials System.

  3. Receive "iOU Travel Card" Responsibility

Travel Card Administration in the Disbursements Department will update the Oracle profile for the designated Validator after confirming that the Validator has completed required training and the cardholder's application has been approved.

After satisfying all three of these requirements, the designated Validator will be able to access and use the iOU Travel Card module of the iOU System.
