2018 Code Camp

code camp 2016

Saturday, April 21, 2018
9:00AM - 5:00PM
Stanford University

The event you have been waiting for is back! Our sixth annual Code Camp will be our biggest event of the year. In the past, we have had more than 200 high school girls participate. Students have the opportunity to work with current Stanford students who are passionate about computer science and want to inspire high school girls to give it a try. Last year, we had more than 40 mentors working with the high school girls. In addition to learning basic coding skills and interacting with students studying computer science, students are able to try out different tracks in computer science. These tracks cover a wide range, from web design to artificial intelligence to virtual reality and more. Mark your calendars and get ready for a great event!

Some highlights:

Applications are now open! We’re looking for female high school students who have little or no exposure to computer science. All that is required is an open and curious mind, and a willingness to learn. We will accept students on a rolling basis, so submit your application ASAP to secure a spot! Applications close Friday, March 30th, at 11:59 PM.
