Courtney Marie Bonam

Courtney is from Ann Arbor, MI and received a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan in 2004. She is currently in her fifth year of working toward a PhD in Social Psychology from Stanford's School of Humanities and Science. Courtney's work with the Lowery Lab focuses on the way in which White Americans experience their own racial identities and how that experience impacts their interracial interactions. Her other research focuses on 1) racial discrimination produced by associations between Black Americans and physical spaces such as the inner city, and 2) the experiences and representations of Multiracial individuals in the U.S.
