Become a Paid Research Participant

We are always looking for people to participate in our paid research here at Stanford University. Please read the criteria below to determine whether you might qualify to participate.

ADULT PARTICIPANTS

If you meet either of the following criteria, you may be eligible to participate in one of our studies:

  • you have no history of emotional difficulty
  •  if you are currently experiencing sadness, loss of interest/pleasure, or significant anxiety

If you are eligible to participate, you may earn $25 for each hour that you participate in our research at Stanford University.

MOTHER/DAUGHTER PARTICIPANTS

You might be eligible to participate in one our Mother/Child studies if:

  • your daughter is between the ages of 10-14
  • you have experienced sad moods or depression in the past

If you and your daughter are eligible to participate, you may earn $40 for each hour that you participate in our research at Stanford University.

CHILD PARTICIPANTS

Your child might be eligible to participate in one our studies if he or she meets ONE of the following criteria:

  • your child is between the ages of 10-17
  • your child is experiencing sad moods or depression
  • your child (10-13 years of age) has experienced stressful events

If your child is eligible to participate, you and your child may earn $25 for each hour that you participate in our research at Stanford University.

TEEN PARTICIPANTS  

Your teen might be eligible to participate in one our studies if he or she meets the following criteria:

  • Your child is between the ages of 13-17
  • Your child is experiencing sad moods, irritability or has a lack of interest in his/her activities

If your child is eligible to participate, you and your child may earn $25 for each hour that you participate in our research at Stanford University. Learn more
