Bio: I was originally born in Onitsha, Nigeria, but raised in Oakland, California. I am really excited to be leading NAIJA this year and look forward to all the amazing events and activities we will host. Bio: I was born and raised in Chicago, but my dad is originally from Benin City. In my free time I like to play the piano, play tennis, and eat jollof rice. I am excited to be on the executive team and I look forward to helping NAIJA have a great year.

Bio: I grew up in Memphis, TN, but my family is originally from Anambra State, Nigeria. Some of my favorite hobbies include performing with the Stanford Cheer Team, watching Scandal, and fan-girling over the Kardashians. I’m really excited to see what’s ahead for NAIJA this year and am super pumped to be a part of exec!

Bio: Hi, everyone. I have lived my whole life in Covina, CA, but my parents immigrated from Nigeria. I love to read fantasy novels, watch animal videos, and eat good food (all desserts included). I am so glad to be a part of NAIJA because it allows me to be around people my age with similar cultural backgrounds which is something I’ve never had before.

Bio: To introduce my family heritage first, I’m half Ibibio and half Igbo. My mother is from Imo State, while my father is from Akwa Ibom State. For me, I really enjoy sports, food, math, chemistry, and just joking around/having a good time.

Bio: My parents hail from Mbaise na Aguata Orumba. I enjoy sports, video games, traveling, and kicking it with the homies. I am the Publicity and Marketing Chair for NAIJA and I look forward to an exciting year with amazing events yet to come!

Bio: I am a San Francisco Bay Area native, and as such, I enjoy the culinary arts, slow jams, and complaining about insignificant matters. I am the youngest of three children born to immigrants from the Akwa Ibom state of Nigeria. As a young Nigerian-American, I am very interested in looking in to the dynamic between african-americans, black immigrants, and those caught in between.
Kemi Lijadu

Bio: I am a sophomore who lives in Lagos, but my hometown is Abeokuta. I loves dancing and listening to Afrobeat music. As an avid reader and philosopher I hope to join the government one day and facilitate the development of Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Bio: I’m from Wilmington, North Carolina. I enjoy music, and photography. I’m not Nigerian, but I love Nigerian food, culture, and people, so I’m glad to be in NAIJA where I get to share that love with others.
