Domain Object Tests

Tests specific to this object. Should be done in addition to general field tests. The type of field is listed in parentheses.

TESTS PER FIELD

• Domain name (DNS name)
  1. Max 255 char for fully qualified name
  2. how many sub-sub domains?
  3. Rule- can't modify domain name except for case. Check to see if true.
• Limited (radio)- means only certain names like "www" are allowed within a domain
  1. Check to see if indeed node names in domain are restricted by Limited button
  2. Domain names should not be restricted by Limited button
• Allow Names (radio)- means the name of domain can also be name of node
  1. Check if "allow names" flag works. Allow names flag does not apply to gods (users having "all objects" access.
• Comment (string)
• Groups (select box)
  1. If user doesn't have right group, can add node to domain?
  2. If user has domain rights but not group rights, can modify domain?
