I am interested in high-fidelity biomechanical modeling with multi-body dynamics and finite-element methods. I have applied such models to describe jaw and tongue mechanics during speech and mastication. I am now working on new modeling techniques to describe how muscle mechanics contribute to human performance in whole-body movements. I am also interested in medical image processing and visualization, including three-dimensional displays.
