Okay, so this is an article I published when I was a teenager about these cool outer tentacles of Drosera burmanii that I showed were sensitive to a protein-motion mixture (and not motion alone). I postulated they were critical to push escaping insect victims back into the center of the trap where they are to be digested.

There is a lot to learn from something like this regarding students methinks....
