B.S. University of California at Davis, Genetics
Nia is interested in the human immune system and the genetic factors underlying its response to pathogenic diseases. He received his B.S. in Genetics in 2017 from the University of California at Davis, where his research was mostly focused on plant genetics. Since joining the Parham Lab in 2018, Nia’s research has been focused on how KIR and HLA diversity lead to different immune responses and clinical outcomes in unrelated HCT as treatment for AML. He hopes that you have a great day!
