DVM. Veterinary School of Algiers, Veterinary Medicine.
Master of Immunology, Paris Descartes University (Paris V); University of Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC).
Ph.D. Immunology. University of Nantes.

Dr Djaoud is interested by the NK cell biology and the diversity of NK cell receptors involved in self and non-self recognition.

She received her Ph.D from the University of Nantes (FR). During her Ph.D, under the mentorship of Dr. Christelle Retière, she investigated the functional impact of KIR engagement with cognate ligands on NK cell alloreactivity and characterized a contribution of NK cells in controlling CMV-infection. Dr Djaoud joined the Parham Lab in 2014 and she now focuses on the NK cell immune responses against certain viral infections.
