Who We Are

The Stanford Polymer Collective (SPC) is an interdisciplinary student organization. Our mission is to foster dynamic conversations and to actively engage the university and local community in the exciting realm of polymer-based materials. We organize a range of activities, including:

  • lunch-and-learns (3 per quarter)
  • industry tours
  • outreach activities
  • quarterly talks
  • annual poster symposia

The Stanford Polymer Collective welcomes membership, leadership, and participation in our scientific community from polymer enthusiasts across all race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, age, parent status, gender, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, experience, and training backgrounds. Additionally, SPC is working to support local underserved middle schools and high schools by sharing polymer science outreach and resources about the process of entering college and academia.
