PSA Breakfast

Azizan, First off, this has no biblical reference. Rather pointing to the end of the quarter. Secondly, we know food becomes less of a priority during that dead week, and we are excited to counter that by holding a delicious breakfast! So, come join us on Sunday at 10am on the second floor of GCC for an unforgettable breakfast :)

PSA Thanksgiving Dinner at UC Berkeley

Salaam doostan,

The PSA, Iranian Student Cultural Organization (ISCO), and Iranian Student Alliance Organization (ISAA) will be hosting the 16th annual Thanksgiving Dinner from 6pm-9pm Tuesday, November 25 at the Persian Center in Berkeley. Come and enjoy great company, along with both Thanksgiving *and* Iranian food!

We have rented vans to travel from Stanford to Berkeley, leaving around 4:30pm and arriving back on campus by about 10:30pm, with a suggested copay of $5. If you’re planning on coming to Berkeley (either with us or on your own), please RSVP here (make sure to fill this out early, as we have a limited number of seats!).

PSA Discussion Series, Session 1

Dear PSA members,

We would like to invite you to join us for the first session of the PSA Discussion Series this Wednesday, November 19th, 8-10pm, in Huang 305. Refreshments will be served from 8:00-8:15pm, followed by a 30 minute student presentation on a topic relevant to and/or affecting Iranian students. The rest of the event will be dedicated to free-form general discussion by everyone present with regard to the presented topic.

This first meeting will be devoted to the well-documented Iranian “brain drain” phenomenon, as well as a short brainstorming session to determine availability for future installments of this event. We tentatively expect to run these once every other week on a weeknight to be determined. If you are interested in attending (or cannot attend but are interested in being a participant now or in future sessions), please RSVP here so we can have a general idea how to finalize the structure of the event.
