Travel Information

Finland is a part of European Schengen-area of free travel. No visa is required for people arriving from the European Union, the United States or several other countries. If you have any concerns regarding visa information, see your respective country’s specific requirements at Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

We recommend staying at Radisson Blu Seaside Hotel Helsinki. Buses to conference venues depart from this hotel.

The hotel is easily accessible by public transportation or taxi. The Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport is within a 40-minute drive. Learn about bus and taxi service from the airport. The underground (Metro) station Ruoholahti is 500 meters from the hotel and the central bus and railway stations are just one kilometer away. Tramline 6 runs directly past the hotel entrance, connecting Ruoholahti to the heart of Helsinki. For guests arriving by car, the hotel offers a large parking lot on-site.
