Keyboard configuration for auditory scan
We created an access method for a gentleman with significant motor control problems and low vision, using custom REACH keyboard for auditory scarming and a custom switch setup.

Four examples of Altra MicroPoint mouse usage.

Prone view of computer monitor - novelty at work
Demonstration of an optical device which allows the user to view the computer from a supine position.

Speech Recognition Software Accuracy
Methods for measuring speech recognition accuracy. The idea is to "wrap your arms" realistically around speech recognition accuracy, during an assessment for use.

TouchWindow Holder
When conducting computer access evaluations, we often need to combine multiple input and output methods. Permanently mounting a TouchWindow input device on a computer limits our flexibility in the configuration of computers in the assessment lab. We developed a mount for the TouchWindow that allows us to easily move it from computer to computer.

Tripod mount for Trackball and Microphone
We mount a trackball on a camera tripod that`s attached to the monitor support structure. In the case illustrated in the attached photos, the user drives his chair up under the tripod and moves the trackball with his chin. Foam pads on the two primary trackball buttons make them tall enough to be accessible to chin "hits." This gives complete mouse control of Windows. Text entry is by Dragon NaturallySpeaking using a microphone attached to the trackball support pad. The supplier of our phone system created software so the user has an accurate on-screen representation of his telephone and can operate it with mouse clicks.
